When it comes to lice and nit removal, it's all about the comb.

About us

To get rid of lice, you need the right comb. Most of the combs on the market slip right past the .3mm-wide nits (eggs). With rigid teeth just the right distance apart and a beveled edge that gets right down to the scalp, the WelComb® always gets it done.

Did you know? • Not all lice bites are itchy; if a person is not allergic to louse saliva, they’ll never itch. • Itching may not occur for WEEKS after the first louse bite, so by that time, lice are fully at home in that head of hair. • Instead of itching, someone with lice may feel tickling or movement in their hair from the lice. • Repeated scratching may cause sores which may become infected. • WelComb gets rid of lice and nits (eggs) with its tightly spaced teeth that sweep through hair, picking up lice and nits. www.WelComb.com #licebites #lousebites #itchy #scratchy #infection #liceremoval #WelComb

Head lice don’t live long if they fall off a head of hair. If they’re on the floor, in a carpet, on a couch or bed, and they don’t find another scalp to attach to, they’ll die. So even if you have a lice problem with a kid at home, you don’t need to wash, disinfect, sterilize, steam clean, dry clean, isolate, quarantine, and clean everything. It’s prudent to wash bedding and towels, and of course, recently worn clothing. Your best defense is using WelComb to inspect and comb through hair to remove all lice and nits that you find. Time invested in wet combing hair and inspecting for lice is the best use of your time to battle a lice problem. #licelifespan #wash #dontgocrazy #inspect #wetcomb #reinspect #removelice #WelComb

Anyone who lives with someone who has head lice needs to have their hair checked. WelComb is not only good for removing lice and nits (eggs), but serves as a great way to check hair for lice too. First wet hair. Add any conditioner to wet hair to allow the WelComb to get through hair more easily. Section off hair to inspect in a methodical manner. If you find lice or nits on your inspection, remove them from hair and smush (a technical term!) on a tissue. Keep combing hair until all hair has been inspected. Repeat as needed until no lice or nits remain. What’s a nit? Simply, it’s a lice egg. They’re tiny, like dots or flecks in the hair. They are usually found close to the scalp where it’s warm and comfy. If nits are found in other parts of the hair, they may be empty egg shells known as casings. Casings appear after nits have hatched. Nits are usually secure on a hair shaft and cannot be easily transferred from one head of hair to another. What gets ride of nits? WelComb, the tiny but mighty lice comb. The perfectly spaced teeth on WelComb capture nits and lice, removing them from hair no matter where they are located. Having lice might be embarrassing for your kids or you. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, though. Anyone with hair can get lice. Lice don’t care if hair is dirty, clean, or anything in between. Lice don’t care if the person showers/bathes weekly, daily, or even hourly. Lice like a warm head of hair, period. It’s not embarrassing to buy WelComb either. You should have a WelComb lice comb on hand, especially if you have kids in school, daycare, sports, or other activities with other kids. Lice are going to find your kids at some point and you should be prepared. https://ow.ly/A0V750QJvs1 #embarrasment #dirtyhair #cleanhair #liceproblem #licecomb #WelComb

Lice aren’t like other unwelcome guests. They don’t knock on your door. They sneak into your family’s life in a head of hair, often unknowingly. Once they’ve hung out for a while and gotten comfortable, only then you might notice them. Evicting them from your kids’ hair may take a little work, but WelComb is your ticket. Get WelComb, wet hair, and use the comb to sweep those lice and nits (eggs) right out where they’ve set up home. It’s never easy to get rid of unwelcome guests, but WelComb will handle lice for you perfectly. Truth is, head lice can spread quickly from head to head. In crowded settings like schools, daycares, parties, sleepovers, and sporting events kids touch heads of hair with others often and repeatedly. Lice don’t jump from head to head, they crawl from one strand of hair to another and can easily get transferred to another head of hair in that quick moment that kids’ heads touch. The best defense is WelComb. When you have WelComb on hand, you can inspect hair for lice and nits (eggs) and you can quickly remove any that you find immediately. WelComb is safe for all ages and safe for the user.
