Ms. Sara Telles-Langdon, B.Kin.(Hons.) is a Master’s Student in Physiology and Pathophysiology at the University of Manitoba. She completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology Honours at the University of Winnipeg. Sara’s research experience started with a qualitative focus on medical ethics and education before transitioning to basic science. In addition to research, she has worked in academia as an undergraduate lab and course instructor at the University of Winnipeg. Outside of academia, Sara is highly involved in sports programs including taekwondo, sailing, and alpine skiing. She has recently been involved in developing a rural sailing program to help make the sport more accessible for women. A Canada Games alumna herself, she will be travelling to the 2023 Canada Winter Games as a technician to support the Manitoba alpine ski team. Moving forward, she hopes to continue her studies by attending medical school to become a physician while remaining active in research.
