Lilian Ndehi-Rice, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, is the Associate Vice President of Pharmacy Clinical and Specialty Strategies at Humana Inc., where she oversees formulary strategy and operations, drug pipeline monitoring and forecasting, policy creation and management, and clinical trend initiatives. She also leads the drug infusion and site of care strategy and the pharmacy managed care residency program. Lilian is actively engaged as a thought leader in addressing health disparities in pharmaceutical care, leading health equity enterprise initiatives at Humana and serving as an expert on numerous external panels.
Before taking her current role, Lilian was the Patient Safety and Pharmacy Stars leader where she directed patient safety programs and strategies that promoted clinical quality and health outcomes. Additionally, she was accountable for the CMS Part D Stars and display measures strategy and execution, and Humana’s quality network where she was focused on innovative clinical programs that showcased the importance of addressing whole person health for Humana’s members to improve health outcomes. Lilian has also held roles in Clinical programs including Medication Therapy Management and Part B Step Therapy Drug Management Care Coordination Program and Clinical Strategies.
In addition to her present role at Humana, Lilian also participates in Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, Pharmacy Quality Alliance and Pharmaceutical Care Management Association workgroups.
Outside of Humana, Lilian enjoys spending time with her family doing house projects, gardening, and reading.
