As the Outreach & Engagement Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM), Michele Spatz addresses the challenges of health disparities through collaboration with community partners to provide understandable and trusted health information programs and resources to support diverse and underserved populations. She is deeply committed to fostering health literacy to achieve health equity. Michele’s library career has centered on outreach, teaching, writing and publishing to advance the public’s access to meaningful health information.
