Judith Lessing Landau, MD, DPM, LMFT, CFLE, CIP, CAI, CRS, President and CEO of Linking Human Systems, is a child, family and community neuropsychiatrist. Former professor of psychiatry and family medicine, she has devoted her career to developing Evidence-Based, Best Practice collaborative, cross-cultural care, family and community systems and resilience models. She has served as consultant to addiction, mental health treatment centers, organizations and governments around the world. Former professor of Psychiatry at University of Pennsylvania, Psychiatry and Family Medicine at University of Rochester, and Senior Consultant to the Trauma Studies Program at NYU and Columbia, Dr. Landau draws upon 50+ years of research and experience facilitating long-term healing for individuals and families with addictive, mental and physical health disorders.
Developer of Evidence-Based, Best Practice Transitional Family Therapy (TFT), the first integrative family systems model and several other Evidence-Based models based on TFT: TFT for adolescents and families; ARISE® Comprehensive Care with Invitational Intervention®; LINC Community Resilience, and Link Individual Family Empowerment (LIFE) all based on TFT. She has over 200 publications and has taught in more than 100 countries. A Senior Fulbright Scholar, and recipient of numerous awards, she has served as consultant to UN, WHO, NIMH, NIDA, NIAAA, CDC, SAMHSA, and several international governments. She enjoys overcoming challenging patient, family, business and community issues, and unraveling complex systems.
