Lisa LaRock, RN, BSN, MSL,CCRN-K, PHRN is currently the Senior Director of Trauma Services for The Guthrie Clinic in the Norther Tier of Pennsylvania and Southern Tier of New York. Previously, she was the Trauma Center Manager at Robert Packer Hospital for 9 years and a Trauma Resource Nurse and Performance Improvement Coordinator where she was able to use her extensive EMS and ICU background in those roles. She earned a Masters of Strategic Leadership from St. Bonaventure University and Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Mansfield University. Lisa is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation Trauma Nurse Advisory Council and Outcomes Committee. Lisa has also served on the Society of Trauma Nurse’s Rural Trauma Special Interest Group in the past. With her special interest in Rural Trauma and its unique challenges, Lisa was excited to be involved in the development of the first Critical Access Hospital in the state of Pennsylvania to become an Accredited Level IV Trauma Center (Troy Community Hospital). Lisa is also a Pre-Hospital RN, ATLS coordinator, ATCN, Rural Trauma Team Development, and AHA instructor.
Interests outside of work include volunteer activities with the local fire and emergency medical services, outdoor activities with her family and Cystic Fibrosis Research and advocacy (in support of her twin son's with Cystic Fibrosis).
