PhD Candidate and resident not in training, cardiothoracic surgery department St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein.
I started working on my PhD in 2015, with limited access aortic valve replacement and cardiac related quality of life as primary subject.
We conducted a single center, single blind, investigator initiated randomized clinical trial, with one year follow-up.
A total of 221 patients were included, during the four years the trial was running.
In the mean time I started working as a resident not in training in our hospital and hope to become in training next summer.
