I am an academic cardiac surgeon at the University of Southern California and enjoy working with new technology in cardiac surgery. Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) has significantly changed our abiltiy to treat aortic disease. Fortunately, this technology has privided an option for many patients. I look forward to the future endovascular developments to treat ascending and arch pathology.
