Frederick M. Lang, BS, is a 2nd year medical student at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is working with the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center to understand how PET myocardial perfusion imaging can be used to guide revascularization decision-making in patients with stable coronary artery disease. Mr. Lang has a number of experiences spanning basic science, translational, and clinical research. Previously, he worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center to understand the molecular underpinnings of different cancers and identify therapeutic targets. Prior to medical school, he worked in the biotech industry designing and executing clinical trials in the gene therapy and immunology spaces.
