I am in my final year of the traditional TCV fellowship at UF. Prior to my arrival in Gainesville, I attended the Medical University of South Carolina and completed my general surgery training at the University of Minnesota, which included two years of lab work focused on lung transplant and ex vivo lung perfusion. My current research interests focus on optimizing patient selection and spinal cord ischemia prevention in TEVAR. My current clinical interests include the full range of adult cardiac surgery with a focus aortic disease and complex/ minimally invasive valve procedures, along with robotic thoracic surgery.
