To read scientific abstracts, click the "Abstracts" button in the bottom navigation bar on the app home screen or open a presentation from the daily schedule. Unless otherwise noted in this Abstract PDF or by the speakers, speakers have no commercial relationships to disclose and will be presenting information only on devices, products, or drugs that are FDA approved for the purposes they are discussing. Abstract content appears as it was submitted; only titles have been edited for clarity and consistency.
Each abstract that is presented orally or as a poster during the STS 58th Annual Meeting must be submitted before or at the time of the meeting to The Annals of Thoracic Surgery for publication consideration. Content from the 58th Annual Meeting will be live-streamed on the virtual meeting platform, and on-demand sessions and e-posters will be available. Recordings of nearly all sessions will be available to all registrants for 1 month on the platform, and then for an additional year as part of complimentary access to the Annual Meeting Online product.
