Rebecca Townsend grew up in the senior living industry. She began her journey providing in-home care for her grandparents and soon found her first position in senior housing as a part-time receptionist. These formative experiences created a connection with seniors, and their wellbeing has become her life’s work.
Rising quickly into operations and sales roles, Rebecca learned all aspects of the business of senior living and she eventually earned regional and executive roles at Horizon Bay (Now Brookdale), HHHunt, Bell Senior Living, National Health Management and Integracare. Rebecca led sales for four years at Silversphere, a national provider of safety technology and SaaS for senior living communities, and following that she oversaw development of several Inspired Living communities as Chief Operating Officer for Tampa start-up Validus Senior Living. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer for Solutions Advisors Group working with teams on new development sales, turnaround, and pre-positioning product lines.
Rebecca recently joined Sherpa as Vice President of Sales bringing with her years of practice in Prospect-Centered Selling® and experience as a SherpaCRM customer. She believes in the power of connecting with prospects and she leads using that same focus on empathy, accountability, and outcomes.
Active in senior living governance issues, Rebecca has served on the Board of Florida Senior Living Association and Health Facilities of Maryland Association. She is also a past member of ALFA (Argentum) Presidents Council.
