Leo Chan currently serves as the Advanced Technology R&D Manager at Nexcelom Bioscience LLC, Lawrence, MA. His research over 10 years have involved in the development of instrument and applications for the Cellometer, Cellaca, and Celigo high-throughput image cytometry systems for detection and analysis of cell-based assays in the field of immuno-oncology, cell/gene therapy, regenerative medicine, protein science, and microbiology. His primary focus is on cell counting and education for image-based technologies. He has also published over 70 peer-reviewed scientific articles. He is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and The American Association of Immunologists (AAI). He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2000-2008).
