Gabriel Hortobagyi is Professor in the Department of Breast Medical Oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. His 45+ year oncology career has focused on clinical and translational research, teaching and mentoring the next generation of scientists and academic leadership. He is Past President of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and is one of the world's leading authorities on the management of breast cancer.
Dr. Hortobagyi is recipient of numerous prestigious awards. He has over 1100 full-length publications in peer-reviewed journals; and over 140 book chapters to his credit.
