Tejas S. Mehta, MD, MPH, FACR, FSBI, is a subspecialty-trained breast imager practicing for over 20 years. She is an Associate Professor of Radiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center/UMass Chan Medical School where she serves on the institution’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and Population Health Committee. She is co-chair of SBI's Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Alliance (IDEA). Her clinical and investigational interests include new and emerging technologies for evaluating breast disease, management of high risk lesions and breast radiology-pathology correlation, improving quality metrics and outcomes, health equity and addressing barriers to care, and optimizing the patient experience.
