Dr. Slanetz is Professor of Radiology, Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and Associate PD of Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Boston University Medical Center. Her clinical research focuses on healthcare disparities, evaluating new breast technologies, and artificial intelligence. Educationally, she has developed curricula related to evidence-based imaging, breast EPAs, professionalism, peer teaching, communication, healthcare disparities, and wellness. She currently is Subspecialty Chair of ACR Appropriateness Criteria Breast Imaging Panels, AUR Vice President and President of Massachusetts Radiological Society. She is a Fellow of ACR, SBI, AAWR and AUR. In 2020, she received the Alliance of Clinician Educators in Radiology Achievement Award.
