Gonzales’ primary concentrations are community-focused marketing efforts for public safety, health promotion and health equality. These concentrations create his primary focus on how strategic communications can connect individuals to services and improve the overall health of the community. He has over nine years of experience working for cultural affairs and public health. His recent writing and speaking have focused on issues of cultural competencies, strategic marketing, public safety assessment and, as a result, is a regular and enthusiastic user of open government data.
