John’s passion for sustainability has led his career with a mission to flourish our clean energy and energy efficiency revolution. He has a B.S. in Environmental Policy from Unity College and an MPA in Public Administration from SUNY Buffalo State. John has worked in a variety of states in the Northeast, supporting their unique sustainability goals. His work in rural Maine focused on renewable energy education and coordinating community solar power purchase agreements. He moved on to work with Green Mountain Energy and their wind energy supply network in Pennsylvania and Upstate NY. Most recently, John was the sustainability manager for NY’s largest solar installation company, Solar Liberty. He now works as the Home Energy Solutions Program Manager with Avangrid to lead residential weatherization services in Connecticut. In his free time, you will find John hiking CT and the Hudson Valley with his Basenji, Farrah.
