DEEP DIVE: From Gatekeeping To Changemaking: Practices To Cultivate Communities of Belonging

Our schools’ missions ask us to aspire to and in fact create and sustain diverse, equitable, and inclusive institutions in which community members experience belonging. How do we intentionally bring equity and inclusion practices into human resources to achieve this goal? How can our recruitment, hiring, and retention practices specifically contribute to this work? We will reflect and explore questions to build upon existing skills, and to enhance our schools’ commitment to this essential work.
