Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations

Susan Lansverk has served as the Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations at University Prep in Seattle since 2007. She is a board member of National Business Officers Association, where she is the Treasurer and chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, a member of the Executive Committee, and previously served on the Strategic Planning Task Force. Susan has served as a faculty member of NBOA’s Business Officers Institute as well as on the Net Assets Editorial Advisory Council. Susan is a 2016 recipient of the Will J. Hancock Unsung Hero Award. She was elected to the Association of Business Officers of Independent Schools in 2019.
Locally, Susan is a member of the NWAIS business officer annual conference planning committee and she co-leads a CFO Roundtable for Seattle area independent school business officers. Susan has served on the board of trustees for several local non-profits, including as Treasurer for The Meridian School. Susan holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from University of Washington.
