Kathy Ferguson works in our national independent school practice to provide an exceptional experience for clients and the independent school community. She has over 19 years of accounting and auditing experience, with firsthand experience in both private and public educational institutions. Kathy’s unique experiences equip her with insight on day-to-day operations, coupled with a perspective developed from auditing a variety of independent schools. She uses this lens to provide clients with advice and guidance on best practice recommendations as well as the latest trends in the industry. Kathy’s specialty is GAAP accounting and the proper reporting and presentation of financial statements. She has experience performing financial statement audits, single audits, and governmental audits for charter school.
Kathy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M Commerce, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of Public Accountants.
