Kevin Quinn is a graduate of the University of Maryland Business School (MBA), the University of Maryland Law School (JD) and Loyola University (BA). He has 40 years of public, corporate and real estate finance experience. Between 1979 and 1982, Mr Quinn practiced public finance law. From 1982 to 1999, he worked as a public finance banker, eventually serving as Managing Director of investment banking units at two different firms. In 1999, Mr. Quinn launched Wye River Group, an SEC registered independent financial advisory firm focused on the financing and investment advisory needs of non-profit organizations. Independent schools are a major area of focus of Wye River. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Quinn has advised over 250 schools in various strategic planning, debt financing and investment advisory engagements. In addition, Mr. Quinn has served on the boards of directors of a variety of publicly traded, private and non-profit organizations including Merge Healthcare, CareFirst, Inc., Old Mutual Trust Company, Securities Finance Trust Company and Theranostics Health.
