Eric Osberg, MBA, M.Ed., is the Director of Finance & Operations at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, in Bethesda, MD. In this role, he works with faculty and staff on School budget priorities, with parents on financial aid applications, with the facilities team on campus improvements, and with Trustees on long-range financial planning. He also oversees campus safety and emergency preparation, certainy auxiliary programs, and, since 2020, has played a leadersrhip role in the School's covid-related preparations and policy-making. His primary role is to safeguard the financial health of the School, serve parents, and ensure that the School’s day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Prior to joining Stone Ridge in 2010, Eric spent eight years overseeing finance and operations for an educational think tank in Washington, DC, the Thomas B. Fordham Institute. There, in addition to management work, he had the opportunity to research, write, and edit, including co-authoring the 2010 volume Stretching the School Dollar: How Schools and Districts Can Save Money While Serving Students Best. Eric earned his MBA and his Masters in Education Policy at Stanford University and his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics at the University of Virginia. He is a native of Wilmington, DE, and in his spare time enjoys cheering on his Virginia Wahoos and Stanford Cardinal. More importantly, he loves spending time with family and being outdoors, especially running and being active.
