Melanie S. Meyer, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a doctoral degree in Educational Psychology and a concentration in Gifted and Talented Education. Melanie was a classroom teacher in gifted and advanced academic English classrooms for over 20 years in the north Texas area and currently teaches graduate courses in research methods, creativity, and special education. Her research focuses on education policy, school-based creativity and talent development, and the college, career, and military choice process for talented students.
