Denetera Cobb is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. She currently serves as the Senior Administrator for Intervention and Advanced Learning Services for Wake County Public Schools. She earned her BS. in Biology and Chemistry from Winston-Salem State University and her Masters in School Administration-Principal and in Curriculum and Instruction from East Carolina University. She prides herself in ensuring students receive the proper support needed based on their needs regardless of where they fall on the spectrum. Her extensive background in the sciences has molded her into the data analyst she is today. She has 17 years of experience in Education where most of those were spent at the Middle School Level. Denetera has had the pleasure of expanding her knowledge by participating in programs that have allowed her to collaborate with educators in India and Mexico. She conducted Medical Research at Peking University in Beijing, China and was able to present her findings at several conferences. When she is not reviewing data, making spreadsheets, and aligning supports to a student’s area of identification or specific area of need you can find her spending time with her husband, three daughters and great dane.
