Dibrelle Tourret works in Guilford County Schools (NC) as the Director of Academically Gifted Services where she oversees the implementation of Academically Gifted and Advanced Learner programming K-12, including elementary Talent Development and Pull-Out Enrichment, Advanced Coursework in Middle Schools and High School opportunities such as Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, college readiness assessments and Governor's School.
Dibrelle has worked in gifted education for 20 years. In addition to her district position, she also serves as an AIG Regional Lead, working directly with the NC Department of Instruction to support statewide implementation. She serves on the College Board's Southern Regional Council and is the current Past President of the North Carolina Association for Gifted and Talented, serving on the NCAGT Board since 2015.
