Catherine A. Little, Ph.D., is a Professor in Giftedness, Creativity, and Talent Development in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Connecticut. Her research interests include professional learning, differentiation of curriculum and instruction for advanced learners, and classroom questioning practices. She serves on UConn’s Honors Board and as Honors Advisor for students in the Neag School of Education. Catherine completed her graduate work at William and Mary, where she also served as Curriculum Coordinator for the Center for Gifted Education. Recently, she has been the Project Director for Project SPARK and Project LIFT, two Javits-funded initiatives focused on working with schools and teachers to recognize and respond to advanced academic potential in the early grades, particularly in students from underserved populations. Catherine has served on the NAGC Board of Directors as Member-at-Large, Governance Secretary, and Treasurer.
