Short description: Most gifted learners possess advanced language ability and develop language skills early. Language performance appears advanced or comparable to that of children one or two years older. The early language development of gifted learners is closely connected to their advanced learning ability. Instructional strategies specific to the differentiated literacy education of gifted learners is demonstrated.
