Short description: Using measures from Dabrowski's Overexcitabilities, Jungian Types, and the Five Factor Model, are there differences in personality characteristics between elementary school students within the top 1% of general intellectual ability enrolled in a special program for the highly gifted and general education students in a public school district? Differences between groups and relationships among measure subscales are presented.

Receive a summary of extant research regarding gifted students' personality characteristics
Understand findings from a personality study with elementary school students using three personality measures
Gain an understanding of the need for further research into the personality characteristics of gifted students and the three personality measures
