Short description: Using over 10,000,000 students’ AP mathematics exams (Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Statistics) from 1997 to 2020, the presenters discuss some of their findings about the disparities in AP math exam participation across races. Employing Mann-Kendall (MK) trend test analysis together with Sen’s non-parametric procedures, the presenters investigate the magnitude and direction of gaps.
