Short description: Children don't just automatically become adults exhibiting empathy, kindness, and consideration toward others. A young gifted child begins to gain social and interpersonal awareness skills during early childhood that develop throughout life through meaningful learning experiences. This session shares many practical and hands-on social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies for developing these understandings and skills in young children to enhance their educational experiences.
