Short description: In this session, talent development specialists from a medium-sized school district share the processes, procedures, successes, and challenges encountered during the first three years of implementing a district-wide approach to talent development. A deliberate application of an equity lens was utilized to address issues of underrepresentation, instructional practice, and access/equity in educational opportunities for all.

Learn about a district-wide model of talent development that provides a continuum of services through a variety of programming and learning options for PK-12
Learn how the use of a culturally-responsive teaching paradigm informed the on-going practice of equity audits of services
Learn about the steps taken behind the complex change of a system for few to a system that is inclusive and responsive
Hear the lessons learned and next steps of implementing an inclusive talent development district-wide model
