Short description: Neurodiverse individuals are more likely to be LGBTQ+, which can add complexity to parenting, education, and meeting social-emotional needs. Understanding how to effectively support and advocate for the LGBTQ+ gifted population (now known as thrice-exceptional) is an important skill set for parents, mental health professionals, and educational systems.

Understand how the intersectionality of being gifted and LGBTQ+ impacts educational needs and strategies
Practice strategies for implementing social-emotional learning strategies that accommodate the needs of the LGBTQ+ and gifted population
Explore the resources that exist and how to implement them in schools
