Short description: Gifted kids are often very curious creatures. However, many lose sight of this playful nature and instead go in search of the one right answer. In this adventurous session, we go down the rabbit hole and explore a wonderland of lessons designed to reconnect you and your students with a playful sense of wonder.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will:
Receive a collection of technology-infused activities field tested by gifted teachers and students aligned to the 2019 ISTE Standards
Engage in active creation and recreative processes using technology designed to promote curiosity, wonder, inquiry, and creativity
Learn how technology-infused lessons can incorporate diverse perspectives and represent traditionally underrepresented populations in authentic ways in a variety of gifted learning environments
