eCYBERMISSION is an online, STEM competition that provides 6th to 9th grade students the opportunity to explore STEM in a real-world setting. Students work in teams of 2 to 4, under the guidance of an adult Team Advisor, to choose a problem in their community to explore with science or solve with engineering. The program supports phenomenon-based learning, directly aligns with Next Generation Science Standards, and is sponsored by AEOP (Army Educational Outreach Program) and administered by NSTA (National Science Teaching Association). eCYBERMISSION provides ample resources to support students and Team Advisors including lesson plans, videos, and interactions with STEM professionals. Mini-Grant funding is also available for project materials and Team Advisor professional development.
