Assistant Director of Study Abroad

As the Assistant Director of Study Abroad in the Office of International Education (OIE) at Carnegie Mellon University, Jaycie is responsible for advising students in the College of Engineering, Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Computer Science, and Tepper School of Business. She earned her B.A. in Spanish and Public Relations from Westminster College and her M.Ed. in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education (Comparative and International Education Policy) from the University of Pittsburgh.
As an undergraduate student, Jaycie studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain; a transformative experience that has fueled her desire to assist others in their pursuit of meaningful education abroad experiences. Jaycie began her career at CMU in July 2007 and has worked in OIE and study abroad for nearly a decade. She’s also held various roles across campus as an Assistant Director of Admission, a Senior Academic Advisor and Program Manager in the Tepper School of Business, and a Communications Specialist in the Department of Modern Languages.
