Jimfong was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s in History. During his senior year of undergraduate, he took a Global Education class, which inspired him to pursue higher education. Presently, he is a Master’s student in the Global Higher Education program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In his free time, Jimfong loves to cheer for the Lakers, power lift, and enjoy quality time with friends and family.
