Chris currently advises F-1 and J-1 students as well as J-1 Scholars and H-1B Faculty and Staff. He lived abroad as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bangladesh and lived in South Korea for 8 years where he taught EFL, Anthropology, and Intercultural Communication. Chris previously worked in ISSS at The University of Alabama and Texas A&M University and has served in NAFSA in various roles such as the Alabama State Representative and Region VII Academy Coach, and is the current Regulatory Ombudsperson for Region III.
