I’m a Senior Research Fellow at University College London and the co-ordinator of the UK-based INHALE research programme, which aims to evaluate the performance and utility of rapid molecular diagnostics for management of HAP and VAP in the critical care setting.
My research focuses the development and evaluation of novel molecular diagnostic strategies for bacterial infections and AMR, clinical trials of molecular diagnostics and their eventual implementation to improve antimicrobial stewardship and patient outcomes, with a strong emphasis on respiratory tract infections and pneumonia.
I have co-authored almost 50 publications in the fields of AMR and clinical microbiology and I am an editorial board member for the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.
If you have further questions about my work or are interested in collaborating, please contact me.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
