Georgios Poulentzas is a postgraduate student in the MSc programme 'Primary Health Care', specialization 'Pharmaceutical Care' organized by the Department of Medicine, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. He graduated as a pharmacist from the Department of Pharmacy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During his pre- and post-graduate years, he has found a great interest in the scientific fields of Pharmacology and Molecular Pharmacology, undertaking his diploma thesis in those fields, as well as Pharmacoepidemiology, Biostatistics and Public Health. His work in the latter fields involve national studies on OTC medications and drug-drug interactions, taking part in the work carried out by the Working Group 3 of the European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance and two studies supported by the EMA and coordinated by University of Utrecht. Results of his research work have been presented as 8 oral presentations in national conferences and 2 poster presentation in international conferences.
