Retired Executive Assistant Director - National Security Branch FBI, United States
IACP members representing countries on all continents will have a variety of experiences associated with political violence. It is not a new phenomenon, but threats have certainly increased recently, particularly in the United States. These panelists will share case studies of their personal experiences addressing this evolving challenge before, during, and subsequent to the most recent U.S. presidential election. They will share lessons learned and recognize best practices for preventing, mitigating, and addressing political violence in local communities. The session will be highly interactive, incorporating live surveys and dialogue with members of the audience.
