Pauline has 36+ years of architectural experience with an expertise in sustainable design. As partner and director of sustainability at WRNS Studio, she’s led multiple LEED, WELL, ZNE, LBC, and CHPS programs. Notable projects include, the U.S. Forest Service’s first straw-bale ranger station, the first ZNE-certified library in the U.S., and three AIA COTE Top Ten winners (Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus using LBC Water Petal and WELL, and Sonoma Academy’s Janey Durgin Guild and Common and Watsonville Resource Center). Pauline continually shares her knowledge with public and private groups, and has contributed to programs for the Hawaii Department of Education and California’s Division of the State Architect’s. She’s a LBC Hero, founder of the Bay Area Sustainable Leaders in Architecture Group, USGBC Green Schools National Co-Chair and Green Schools Advocate, and frequently speaks about sustainable design practices at national and regional conferences.
