Dr. Galsky is a medical oncologist with a clinical and research focus on bladder cancer. He completed a medical oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and subsequently joined the faculty at MSKCC. In 2010, he was recruited to Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Tisch Cancer Institute where he currently serves as Professor of Medicine and Director of Genitourinary Medical Oncology, Co-Director of the Center of Excellence for Bladder Cancer, Associate Director for Translational Research, and Co-Leader of the Cancer Clinical Investigation Program. His research efforts involve team science-based approaches to dissect the mechanisms underlying response and resistance to treatment strategies in bladder cancer with a focus on immunotherapeutic approaches.
