Tirissa J. Reid, MD
Dr. Reid is a board-certified endocrinologist who treats adults with overweight and obesity at the Metabolic and Weight Control Center at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY. She completed her medical degree and internship/residency training in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center (Bronx, NY). Her training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism was completed at Columbia University. She currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her research interests include interventions to decrease weight bias in medical students and clinicians and changes in weight-related comorbidities after weight loss by medical or surgical treatment.
