Kamelia Klejc BS, EMT, is the Program Coordinator for Gainesville Fire Rescue's Community Resource Paramedicine (CRP) Program in Gainesville, Florida. She is a national conference speaker and recipient of the 2021 Public Safety Award from the City of Gainesville. As the Program Coordinator, Kamelia manages, oversees, and coordinates 4 programs including Chronic Disease Management, Recovery Response, Community Health, and Telehealth with a focus on mitigating social determinants of health to resolve misuse of the emergency system. Kamelia is a graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in biochemistry and was a fellow with the Florida Health Policy Leadership Academy.
