Jan Matthijs is responsible for new business applications and new customer accounts and IP. With a background in optics & device characterization, he scouts discuss and test new applications as well as equipment upgrades. Previously, he set the specification of the Blu-ray disc and managed the start-up of the Blu-ray disc pilot production, and transferred the Blu-ray disc technology to Moser Baer India. Later on, he was responsible for the R&D of OLED stack and substrate technology, integrating light management textures to improve the OLED efficiency.
