Brigadoon Village
David is the CEO of Brigadoon Village, a camp and recreational facility located in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia which transforms the lives and perspectives of children and youth living with health conditions and other life challenges. Under his leadership, David has has grown Brigadoon to serve more than 800 children in its summer programs and over 2,500 more in its year round offerings which, during pandemic mandated closure, enabled the organization to launch an $11M expansion of its facility that will enable it to serve more children and better deliver on program outcomes.
For more than 25 years, David has been working with youth and young adults to develop our next generation of leaders. He has served as a Director on the boards of Nova Scotia Health, Recreation Nova Scotia, the Canadian Camping Association, and the StFX Alumni Council.
In 2022, David was recoginized as one of the Top 50 CEO's in Atlantic Canada.
David holds a BBA from St Francis Xavier University and is a Fellow of Community Shift at the Ivey Business School at Western University.
