After completing her radiation oncology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she served as Chief Resident, Dr. Bedi went on to become an integral member within the institution and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the departments of Radiation Oncology, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Early in her career, she was bestowed the Sharon K. Wadina Endowed Chair in Sarcoma Research, one of the few endowed sarcoma chairs in the United States. Dr. Bedi’s commitment to education and collaborative growth has been evident in her leadership roles, which includes serving as the Director of the Sarcoma Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. As program leader, Dr. Bedi has coordinated patient and healthcare provider symposiums to increase the wealth of knowledge in the cancer community, as well as raised over 1 million dollars for cancer research through philanthropic events she has chaired for the institution and organizations such as the Sarcoma Foundation of America. In all her roles, Dr. Bedi finds great joy in working across disciplines to improve care and education for patients, their families, and the community.
