Jeff is a current 4th year medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and current research fellow at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. As a future physician, amateur athlete, and kinesiology major, he is interested in addressing problems of both physiologic and biomechanical wellness, which prompted his fascination with orthopedic surgical oncology as a potential career. He became involved with sarcoma research early in his medical education, and is currently invested in basic science and translational chondrosarcoma research, as well as several clinical projects related to soft tissue sarcoma and osteosarcomas. He is a current applicant for an orthopedic surgery residency position. He looks forward to a career committed to advancing biomedical research and lifting the clinical burden of those suffering with orthopedic malignancies.
