Born in Mexico, and raised in Houston, Texas. I attended Texas A&M for her undergraduate degree in biomedical science, before continuing to medical school at University of Texas San Antonio. I am currently a PGY-2 resident at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Mclean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Program. I have particular research interests in Global Psychiatry, the intersection of psychiatry and rheumatology, and identifying mental health interventions specifically for the needs of Latinx communities.
